Welcome to our website and our blog! We are the Coburns, and this is our first blog post for our home repair business, Coburn Custom. This post will introduce you to who we are and why our company is different. I’ll also be explaining our mission and our vision for the future. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I’m genuinely honored that you’re interested in learning more about our family business.
This is us!
I’m Mike Coburn, and the beautiful woman in the picture is my wife, Samantha. Together we now have FIVE exceptional children. Baby Eden was still in Momma’s belly when we took these pictures, so she’s there in spirit! I’ll be sure to share some photos of her on here soon. As a family, we enjoy hiking and having movie nights. We’ve also taken on a remodel of my wife’s childhood home. We bought it from her parents a few years back and have been updating and renewing the home ever since.
We will be writing about our experience with our own home remodel, the exciting projects we get to do for our customers, as well as tips, tricks, hacks, and how-tos along the way. We want this blog to be a place our friends and clients come to learn about us, our business, and home remodeling in general. One of my main goals is to post content that will inspire you to take on a home project yourself.
We're here for you for those projects that you don’t have the experience or desire to tackle. If you have a problem around your home, we want to solve it. We do a lot of basic home repair and troubleshooting. We also do everything from roofing repair to small concrete work. If we can’t fix your problem, we’ll refer you to the person we would hire to do the job in our own home. Our mission is straightforward. We are here to help. That’s our guiding principle.
With our north star being that we are here to help, we’ve built our vision on that foundation. Coburn Custom will continue to be a trusted, locally-owned family business that you can count on to help you repair, remodel, or renew your home. We are here to help you prepare your property for your future. Whatever that future may look like for you. It’s different for everyone. Our vision is to help you build your vision.
To close this inaugural blog post, I would like to express my gratitude. Thank you! Building this business has, at times, been very stressful, but it has been gratifying, and I love what I do.
